Temporary urban spaces at Køge South Harbour, Denmark

This project meets the local’s desire to have a BMX track within Køge Etape 0 temporary activity plan. The small pioneer trees woodland establishes a robust frame around the track right from the arrival from the road. A wood-decked-pathway stretches through the trees and contains more relaxed spaces overlooking the terrain. The plantation and path isolate users from the former industrial polluted soil with an invitation to enjoy the poetic feel between the harbours industrial skyline, the new activities and living plantings.
