Proposal for the Garden Festival of Chaumont-sur-Loire, France

The topic “Future Happy Biodiversity” for the Garden Festival of Chaumont-sur-Loire inspired the idea of placing the garden on the table and people sitting in the soil around this table. This “garden table” is a flat earth plane grown covered by a lush mix of herbs, fruits and vegetables species with a symbolic apple tree in the middle with a lush plant diversity that visitors are invited to observe and enjoy at ground level. e table is. The benches are placed around the table and are dug into the ground and covered with wooden boards. This project aims to demonstrate the manifestation of a the beautiful and tasty diversity rooted on Earth and to give the chance to enjoy it, at ground level.
