Urban landscape development plan in Strøby Egede, Denmark

the project departure with a need for imput to a development plan for Stevns municipality leading to a landscape analysis and a vision plan for Strøby Egede town center. The analysis states the proximity between to the sea as a strong qualitative support in the renewal of the town and in the need for new connections with the surrounding landscape. The project combines several low but dense buildings mixing business, service and housing with the formation of a new square and requalification of the main street with shared space traffic principle. A walkway stretches from the city center between the new buidings to the coast, where a beach park is proposed.
